from our guests

Starseed was a very healing space for my Mama and I to relax and rest into ♥️

I am still drooling over that kitchen. What a treat to cook in there! Our entire experience was impeccable.

Great stay for independent travellers who want to feel at home and meet some new Soul fam. We will be back!

As someone who's done many retreats, the farm-to-table aspect here is unparalleled. Eating food that was literally growing in the ground that morning, prepared by Chef Erika, was a healing experience in itself.

Dash and Erika have created something truly special. The way they honor the land while providing modern comfort is remarkable. The yoga studio floating above the stream became my favorite place on earth.

Cannot recommend this place enough. We spent two nights, did the farm tour and dinner, and could have stayed for longer. So magical. Our teen daughter thought the outdoor shower was excellent. I was in love with the outdoor kitchen. Our son loved the night sounds that come through the screens. The dinner was delicious. Tour was interesting. Good spot for doing the Pololu Valley hike or just exploring the small town vibe of North Kohala. This was part of a ten night road trip around the island, and I think it might have been my favorite.

I’m a resident of the Big Island, and of all the experiences I’ve had here, the farm tour and farm-to-table dinner ranks as one of the most extraordinarily enjoyable and enjoyably extraordinary! Dash led the tour, which was equally illuminating and nourishing. And his lovely wife, Erika, provided her outstanding culinary gifts to feed our souls and bellies! Their love of Hawaii, and their knowledge and commitment to the land and Hawaiian growing practices is a blessing to all. Whether you’re a resident or a tourist, I cannot recommend this experience enough! You’ll definitely learn new things, and you’ll leave feeling uplifted and inspired! 🌸

Stayed a few nights, we were overwhelmed by the lush beauty and accommodations. Everyone was kind and helpful. The outdoor kitchen was highlighted with everything you could ever create. We ordered a box of organics from their garden and cooked effortlessly, sitting around a lazy Susan table forever remembered for its beauty, size, and gloss.

The Cabana had the exotic feel of the tropics, as well as an outdoor shower. The entire property is magical, and there is a surprise around every corner. Starseed is the place you will forever remember. This is the Big Island stay that calls you back.

We stayed three nights with a side trip to Popolu Valley moments away that's not to be missed. If you like to take care of yourself with your own food and prepare you have found your Eden.

Beautiful place, simple living. It is absolutely as described. Not for you if you want extravagant luxury, but if you’re seeking simple elegance, natural beauty, and a peaceful existence for your stay, this is spot on.

The combination of the sacred land, nourishing food grown right there, and the authentic Hawaiian healing practices created a transformation I didn't expect. I came exhausted and overwhelmed, and left with clarity, energy, and a deep sense of peace.

Wow what a spectacular experience staying in the Coconut Hale! The architecture of the hale, outdoor kitchen and dining area were beautiful. I loved the outdoor shower and appreciated that we had a private toilet just outside our room. The stars at night are absolutely amazing. Only wish we could have stayed longer! I left feeling so refreshed and inspired. 🙏🏼
