Check-In
  • Late Arrival: Contact us in advance; we'll accommodate with a packed dinner
  • Check-in Time: 3:00-5:00 PM on Day 1. Dinner served at 6pm. 
Check-Out
  • Late Departure: Available upon request (subject to next group schedule)
  • Final Day: Ends after lunch (typically 2:00 PM)
Transportation
  • Parking: Free on-site parking available
  • From Kona Airport: 1.25  hours drive (rental car recommended)
  • From Hilo Airport: 2 hours drive
  • Airport Shuttle: Available for additional fee ($150 per person round-trip)
  • Directions: Provided upon booking confirmation

    • Comfortable clothing for movement (yoga attire)

RETREAT LOGISTICS

  • Group Size
    • Notice: We notify participants 14 days in advance if minimum not met
    • Minimum: 4 participants (retreat may be rescheduled if minimum not met)
    • Maximum: 8 participants (intentionally intimate)
  • Age Requirements
    • Youth: 16-17 year olds accepted with parent/guardian participation
    • Minimum Age: 18 years old for all retreats
    • Family Exceptions: Contact us for family retreat possibilities
  • Photography & Media

    We photograph retreats for marketing purposes

    • Participants may opt out (notify us at booking)
    • We never share personal information
    • Participants may photograph for personal use
    • Please be respectful of others' privacy

TECHNOLOGY & CONNECTIVITY

    While we don't require it, we strongly encourage limiting technology use to enhance your retreat experience.

    • Maintain confidentiality about others' personal shares
    • Refrain from alcohol/drugs during retreat
    • Keep shared spaces clean and organized
    • Be punctual for scheduled activities
    • Respect property boundaries and private areas
    • Practice environmental consciousness
    • Honor the land and Hawaiian culture
  • Grounds for Dismissal (No Refund)
    • Disruptive behavior affecting other participants
    • Violations of safety protocols
    • Harassment or disrespect toward staff/participants
    • Property damage
    • Violation of drug/alcohol policy

WEATHER & EMERGENCY POLICIES

    • North Kohala has microclimates - rain is common
    • Most activities continue in light rain
    • We have covered spaces for all programming
    • Activities adjusted for safety in severe weather
  • Emergency Situations
    • Full refund or rescheduling if we cancel due to emergency
    • In case of natural disaster, we follow official guidance
    • If participants cannot arrive due to emergency, standard cancellation policy applies
